Los Alamos
Los Alamos, founded in 1876, still exudes an old west heritage vibe that’s like stepping into a time capsule. More recently, this tiny town of only about 1,900 residents has developed into a very exciting culinary destination, with Bell’s becoming one of the first Santa Barbara country restaurants to receive a Michelin Star. The downtown area consists of moderate family homes while just outside town are expansive ranches, vineyards and family compounds.
